The monsters begin to differentiate: the out-of-control type (purely hunters) and the evolved type (retaining consciousness). Humanity forms a "purge force" to hunt them down. The protagonist becomes a target: humans want to kill him, monsters want to devour him. He is forced to choose: become the hunter, or the prey?
